When you are heading to Tioman, you'll have to get to Mersing first. Transnasional Express departs at least five times per day from Puduraya bus station. It takes roughly 6 hours to get to Mersing. From Singapore

By bus
Direct bus from Singapore to Mersing. Transnasional departs from Lavander Street, Bus Station Kallang Baru. Departure times are 9am/10am or 10.00pm. A single Ticket costs SGD29.10

Another alternative would be to take the Singapore-Johore Express directly to Larkin Bus station where a Trasnasional Bus leaves at 11.00am fare RM7.90 Or Johor express at 9.00am Fare RM9.00
Taxi
You need to go across the causeway either by Taxi or Bus. Taxis to Mersing can be found at Lakin bus station. Cost from 130-180RM. It takes about 2 and 1/2 hours to get to Mersing Jetty.
Mersing -Tioman (Tekek village)
by Ferry Ferry’s to Tioman leave on a regular basis and depart from Mersing. The first ferry usually departs at 7.30am and the last one is at about 4.30 p.m. depending on tides. Tickets cost RM35 one way. It takes about 2hours to get to Tioman Tekek. Swiss Cottage is a ten minute walk from the jetty. You can also pay a van or car to take you to your destination.
